A Pilgrimage of Friendship and Discovery

David and I (Eugene} are old school friends having studied together in St. Xaviers in Delhi. We spent many joyful years with others as boarders in Xaviers. I am flying in from Adelaide and meeting David in Dubai where David lives. Together we leave Dubai and are off to Portugal - to Lisbon and then to Porto to do the Portuguese coastal Camino. This Camino goes from Porto to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Saint James the Apostle is said to be buried in Santiago de Compostela. A huge basilica has been built over the site of his remains. Over the centuries, 'pilgrims' have travelled to Santiago. There are a series of walks that converge on that medieval city of Santiago de Compostela. So, we have planned a lovely15 day walk through the coastal region of Portugal, from Porto to Santiago.  We hope to meet many likeminded pilgrims on the way - make new friends and partake in the common spiritual journey.
